Picture of the Week- Jan.11th

This was the picture of the butterflies. It was about symmetry. Asymmetry is the opposite of symmetry. When things are symmetrical they have proportion and balance, just as the picture of the butterflies shows.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein failed his university entrance exam. He was a war pacifist, but urged the FDR to build the atom bomb. After Einstein died, his brain was removed without the family's permission and kept in a jar and studied. Weird huh?? :)

Einstein

Albert Einstein is one of the worlds greatest scientist. Who had many great accomplishments in his lifetime. The most notable his Theory of Relativity E=MC2 which in short gives us the equivalence of mass and energy. Another accomplishment is the discovery and work with the Schrodinger equation. Which is a simplified equation to determine how much a physical system changes over time(such as a solar system), using Newtons three laws of motion. Wanting to become an Oncologist after graduation from college I feel if I am half as cool as Einstein or even a quarter as intelligent a he was I think I'm pretty lucky, and will be exceptionally successful in my career.

Picture of the Week--Einstein

In the fields of Science and Math there are many notable heroes. Mendel studied heredity, and who could forget Newton and his three laws. Sure as students we could care less what these men actually did, but they do deserve some recognition. Without them or their discoveries who knows where our country or world would actually be. This brings me to this weeks Picture of the Week... its of Mr. Albert Einstein. He was one of the worlds most influential scientist of all time. The biggest notable accoplishment would probably have to be his theory of relativity.
